Appscale: Google and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) have announced the App scale Academy. The aim of this academy will be to help startups that are building apps on a global scale. Google and MeitY are soon going to take a test in which 100 startups will be selected. After selection, all the startups will give training for 6 months through webinars.
The App scale Academy program will cover issues such as app quality, global reach, user acquisition, app design, Google Play policy, data safety, and monetization. Any Indian startup can apply to participate in the program. The last date to apply is December 15 and the list of selected 100 startups will be released in January 2022.
App quality review will also be available under this program. Along with this, training will also be given from Google. Startups with all types of app development including gaming, non-gaming can participate in this program. The developer must be at least 18 years of age and have Indian citizenship to join this program.
Under the App scale Academy program, the selected startups will be trained by CEOs like Alok Kejriwal, CEO of Games2Win, Founder of KuApp, CEO Apmeya Radhakrishna, General Manager of Meesho, Mega Agarwal.
