Corona Second wave: The second wave of Corona in the country has now become fatal. On the last day, 459 people have died due to infection. At the same time, for the first time in six months, more than 72 thousand new cases have also been found.

On Thursday, the Union Health Ministry has informed that for the first time more than 72 thousand new corona cases have registered after 172 days. At the same time, more than 50 thousand corona cases register for the eighth consecutive day. For the first time since December 5, the maximum number of people have also died in a single day.

According to the information, 72,330 new Corona cases have come on the last day. During this time 459 people have lost their lives. However, 40,382 people have recovered from Corona. Earlier, on October 10, 74,383 cases reported. At present, the total number of infected patients in the country has exceeded 1.22 million, out of which 1.14 crore have been healthy. While 1,62,927 people have died. The number of active patients in the country is continuously increasing. This number has now reached 5,84,055.

There was a time when the number of corona infections in the country started decreasing. On February 1 this year, 8,635 new Corona cases registered. This number of corona cases in one day was the lowest this year. According to ICMR, on Wednesday, 11.25 lakh samples teste in the country, out of which 5.8% of samples infect.

According to the data, 227 infected people have died in a single day in Maharashtra. Until some time ago this figure was all over the country, but now so many deaths in the same state are the result of the fatal effects of infection. 39,544 new cases of coronavirus infection report in Maharashtra on Wednesday. The maximum number of cases occur in the state on a single day three days ago, when 40,414 people confirm to be infected.

With this, the death rate from corona in the country has risen to 1.34 percent while the recovery rate has come down to 94 percent. The active rate has also risen to 4.55 percent. A record 31,489 active cases have increased in the last one day alone. Compared to other countries of the world, India ranks fifth in the world in active cases of corona.

The Health Ministry said that even though Maharashtra suffers the highest number of deaths due to corona. There are some states in the country where not a single infected person has died due to corona. These include Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura.

Now the maximum number of cases started in eight states

 

The Health Ministry has informed that in the last few weeks, more than 80 percent of cases receive daily in six states of the country, but their number increase to eight in the last day. Apart from Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh are also included, where 85 percent of cases are found in a day. However, apart from these, there are also Rajasthan and Haryana where the cases of corona are increasing continuously.
