Facebook server down: Services are back to normal once again. Apologizing for the disruption to Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram servers down. Mark Zuckerberg said the services are now returning to normal. “Sorry for today’s disruption — I know how much you trust our services to stay connected with the people you care about,” he said.
On Tuesday morning, WhatsApp said via Twitter, “Apologies to those who have not been able to use WhatsApp today. We are slowly and carefully restarting WhatsApp. Thank you very much for your patience. We’ll continue to keep you updated when we have more information to share.”
Let us tell you that the services of Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram came to a global halt on Monday night, due to which thousands of users across the world, including India, faced difficulties in using these digital platforms. Facebook also owns Instagram and messaging app WhatsApp. This problem started around 9 pm Indian time. Users that they were unable to access any of the three platforms.
Microblogging site Twitter flood with tweets about the problem as users of social media forums shared posts and memes about the problem. Facebook as well as its other social media platforms have a considerable number of users in India. According to government data shared earlier this year, India has 53 million WhatsApp users, 41 million Facebook users, and 210 million Instagram users.
