Navjot Singh Sidhu decision: The command of the Punjab Congress will remain in the hands of Navjot Singh Sidhu, the decision on this will be taken today. Earlier on Thursday, there was a ruckus for the whole day about it. Sidhu held a meeting with Harish Rawat and KC Venugopal on Thursday.

After this statement of Sidhu, now it is only late for the announcement of Congress’s high command. With this announcement, there is a possibility of ending the internal tussle in the Punjab Congress in the last months. Sources say that in the meeting which lasted for about one and a half hours at 24 Akbar Road (Congress Headquarters). The issues related to the Punjab government and the organization discuss. An attempt was made to reach a consensus so that the entire party could come together in the field before the elections. Sources also said that there is little chance of a change in the leadership of the State Congress Committee. At present as a few months are left for the assembly elections. In such a situation, the Congress high command can take a respectable decision regarding Sidhu’s resignation, both for him and the party.
