Reduction in corona cases: On the second wave of coronavirus, the central government has claimed that there are signs of new cases coming down in some states. Experts say there are early signs of a second wave of corona infection. However, right now it is not right to claim it mathematically by estimating the second peak. It can be said that after at least two to three weeks of the same situation. The second wave of corona in India is now beginning to weaken.

Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS Delhi, said that more than four lakh cases were found in the country on Saturday. Which followed by 3.92 on Sunday and now 3.68 lakh cases. Reduction in corona, Less than one lakh active patients in 24 states


According to the Ministry of Health, there are currently 24 states in the country where the number of active patients is less than one lakh. Of these 17 states, this figure is less than 50 thousand. However, in 12 states, the number of patients under treatment still remains more than one lakh.

According to the Ministry of Health, in Chhattisgarh, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. There are indications that the cases of infection are getting reduce every day.

While cases are increasing in Andaman and Nicobar, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Karnataka, and Kerala. Apart from these, new cases are also increasing in Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Pondicherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, and West Bengal.

Increased gap between new cases and discharges


Joint Secretary Luv Kumar Aggarwal said that if we see the difference between an infected patient and discharge cases every day, then it has increased very fast. On April 20, 1,54,761 patients were discharged. While 2,59,170 new cases reported.

During that time a difference of 60 percent was found between them but on the last day, this difference has been recorded up to 82 percent. Although the gap had reached 50 percent between 21 and 24 April. It started improving as the number of discharged patients increased.
