Travel advisory in America: America is now going to open its gates again to foreign nationals after the restrictions imposed due to Coronavirus. The US has announced a new policy for the entry of foreign nationals.Which will come into effect from November 8. Under this, people who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine in America will get admission.

The US President’s Office White House made the announcement on Friday night. Passengers arriving by air from 26 Schengen countries in Europe along with India, UK, Ireland, South Africa, and Brazil will be allowed entry. All vaccines approved by the Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization will be considered approved for air entry.

These countries are involve  in the 26 Schengen countries


From next month the new rules will apply to a group of 26 European countries known as Schengen countries. The 26 Schengen countries are Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland are involve.


Apart from this, the US will also allow completely closed foreign air travelers from Britain, Brazil, India, Iran, South Africa, and Ireland. The US has decided to start international travel hoping to revive the economy.

New guidelines for travelers going to America


  • Air travelers must have proof of full vaccination before boarding a flight to the US.
  • Air travelers must have a negative corona report at least 72 hours before the scheduled date of travel.
  • Only passengers who have had a vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) will be accepted for entry by air.
  • Passengers will place under contact tracing. Meaning US-bound airlines will collect information such as a person’s phone number and email address.
  • Passengers will  teste for COVID before entering the US and while leaving the country.

The ban was imposed in the US in March 2020


Non-essential travel by land and air was imposed in March 2020. In view of the increasing cases of Kovid in the US. The ban began in January 2020 with the exclusion of Chinese travelers. Which  has extend to many more countries without a clear idea of ​​when and how the ban will be lifted.
